Danger of Death Penalty

 

  In my opinion, death penalty must be abolished by 3 reasons. 

 
  First reason is possibility of misjudgement. Even in United States, which is accepted with the strongest criminal investigation technology, we can find some example about possibility of affecting unfair victim by misjudgement. For Example, Troy Davis case, which is case that Troy Davis is executed by murder police officer in USA, 2011, is big controversy still. We should not eliminate possibility of existence of condemned criminal who wait death by misjudgement, because there are many case that is exculpated after punishment not only condemned criminal but also another criminals.

 

  Second reason is that criteria of subject of application is vague. If we must sentence of death to felon, what is criteria of 'felon'? Person who kill the other directly or indirectly? Person who kill one person or more than two person? Economic offense who not kill the other but make many office worker to suicide? Person who stage a coup to overset democracy? Like these, it is not easy to define criteria of 'felon' in society which has diverse opinion. Even though we define the criteria, there can be person who raise a question about the criteria, and judgement that whether suspect is satisfied criteria or not could have supervision of judge.

 

  Last reason is possibility of abuse. If corrupt and violent government appears in several years after death penalty is made legal, we cannot say that there is zero possibility to applying the criteria by establishment as they want and people who is not guilty have died legitimately. There is possibility to some people are executed by reason of treason. Representative example is Inhyeokdang case, which is case that 8 person who were not guilty are died in Korea, 1975, enough say about possibility of abuse of death penalty. However, if we abolish death penalty, we can save their life fist, and they can released from factitious sin after upright government is appeared.

 

  Above all reasons, I think death penalty must be abolished because of possibility of misjudgement and abuse, and vague application criteria.

Knowledge from Knowledge

 



     My own experience from blog posting has changed my attitude for knowledge. I had thought that knowledge only can be learned by other's teaching such as textbook, lecture, etc., or can be made by direct experience about particular aspects, but now I think knowledge also can be created by recombination of my own and other's knowledge. In other words, A+B can be not only AB but also C or A`B. This is new my own knowledge. Blog posting provides opportunities to collect other's knowledge from comments, other's blog writing. Naturally, it makes me to have ownership of the knowledge. I had thought that I can't become a owner of some knowledge, but I become. Thus, blog writing has changed my understanding of knowledge.

1) What has the comments others have posted on my blog taught me about my own writing?

  The comments others have posted on my blog helped me write paragraph more interesting and less wrong. First, they tell me about how could I write more interesting topic sentence, and they advise me to how shoud I add supporting sentences. It is good to know various opinion of others. Second, they correct my mistakes such as capitalization, spelling, etc. They help me catch my mistakes that wasn't recognized while I only concentrate on paragraph structure.


2) What have the comments I have posted on other blogs taught me about writing?
  
  My comments gave many good effect to my writing. First, they provided opportunities for review my paragraph to me. I could correct my paragraph when I advuse on other blogs. Second, they allowed me to think about various topic and perspective. By commenting other's paragraph, I read more detail their writing, and I can empathize their writing or raise a questions about their supporting sentences.

   Kakao Talk1) has the largest application market share in Korea for three reasons.
  
   First of all, launching period of Kakao Talk was perfect and timely. For example, it had been launched in 2010, when smart phone boom had begun in Korea. Naturally, it has attracted to people as early messenger. Also, it has released PC version in 2013, when PC messengers had been declining such as MSN, Nate On and etc. It allowed to Kakao Talk to monopolize PC messenger too.

   Second, it is easy to use for various people. For example, Kakao Talk has minimized registration process. When you start Kakao Talk at first, only thing you need is your phone number. Then, Kakao Talk helps you to add friends automatically by using your phone directory. Also, it has simple interface. When you chat with your friend, it only shows you a profile picture, name and messages of your friend.

   Lastly, Kakao Talk has various functions. For example, it has helpful functions for chatting. It enables you to check whether your friend reads your message or not, and it permits you to make group chatting rooms. Another exmample is that Kakao Talk has linkage with other applications such as Facebook, Instagram, Myspace and etc. You can play games that cooperated with Kakao Talk or shop with your Kakao Talk ID. In addition, it allows you to share information with most of applications.

  With those reasons, Kakao Talk has become an ordinary application that is used by most of Korean.

My optimal place to study

    My desk is optimal place to study. I can see my well-organized desk that made of wood when I enter my room. Left side of my desk is bookshelf, and there are many books that are categorized by genre or subject. That provides me better condition to start studying . In front of my desk, I have only a table clock. If my desk is messy, I can't concentrate on my studying. Finally, I can see a pencil case and various writing stuffs when I look around right side of my desk. I can pick my pens out from pencil case easily because I am right-hander. Through those reasons and features, I can say that my desk is optimal, good and simple place to study!

How does where I live (have lived) influence how I live?

I have lived in Myeong-il for 12 years. Myeong-il has influenced to two parts of my life.
  First, Myeong-il has affected to my hobby. Myeong-il has many sports complex. So it is good condition to play football with friends. (Actually, if you go to court, there are always many people who want to play football on weekend.) That's why I like to play football also watching it.
  Second, Myeong-il has influenced to my health. There are many little forests near by downtown, so I could breathe with fresh air. So I didn't catch a cold easily. Also, there are some low hills and that made me to have long lasting legs.
  Thus, Myeong-il has had an effect on my hobby and health.
